Getting involved

There are plenty of ways you can take part in Carers Active Together, on 15 April!

From exclusive offers at local gyms and leisure centres to simple ways you can join from home or in your area - we're here to help you take part in a way that feels right for you.

Exclusive offers

As part of Carers Active Together, we're pleased to share offers and discounts at gyms and leisure centres to help you get active in a way that works for you.

With more than 250 leisure facilities across the country, Everyone Active are offering a range of health and fitness activities for you to join. Find out more today about their activities and concessionary membership rates for carers.

With a free day pass, you can come and try out the facilities at your local Everyone Active centre. As a carer you can accompany the person you care for, at no extra charge, to take part in gym, aquatics and inclusive activities, which include an opportunity to socialise at our community cafes.

Alternatively if you want to get active from home, why not try the Everyone on Demand app.

To celebrate Carers Active Together Day, Better Gyms is offering carers a free one-day pass on 15 April.

Enjoy access to:

  • Gym
  • Swimming
  • Fitness classes (subject to availability)

Just drop into your local centre on the day with proof that you’re a Carers UK member or receive Carer’s Allowance, and the team will get you set up. No booking needed – simply come along and get active!
