Carers Scotland will be holding their Annual Carers Summit on 23 March 2022 between 10am and 1pm.
The Carers Summit will be a virtual event and will include speakers and workshops on a range of issues affecting unpaid carers including:
- Scottish Government consutlation on plans to replace Carer's Allowance with a new Scottish Carer's Assistance
- COVID recovery and future planning to support carers
- Carers Scotland's work to support unpaid carers including employment, social security, policy and new technology
- Carers UK Vision 2025
- and more...
The event will be followed by a short informal networking/discussion space for unpaid carers
