Carers UK has launched a new survey for unpaid carers, to capture how the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an impact on carers' lives.

We carried out a similar survey back in April which uncovered the impact that the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic had on carers. The results helped us campaign for better guidance, better recognition, consideration in food schemes, testing for carers, PPE, and specific advice to support juggling work and care.
We are now at a crucial point before winter, before the flu seasons starts and before the end furlough at the end of October. Carers’ responses to this second survey will enable us to provide comprehensive evidence of what carers are experiencing six months on from the Covid-19 outbreak. It will inform our ongoing work to influence Government decision making, highlight carers’ experiences in the media and ensure that our advice and information resources are appropriate for carers’ needs.
