12 Days of Christmas

We visited Jackie – who has cared for brother Mark since he was 12 years old – to give a snapshot of caring at Christmas.

In his late twenties, Mark developed Huntington's disease – the condition that took their mum, uncle and grandmother. Jackie now cares for Mark full time in their home in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, where they live with Sybil the dog and Jackie's partner.
