Running Manchester Marathon is special. It's one of the UK’s flattest and fastest major marathons, making it ideal for achieving a personal best or completing your first 26.2 miles.

The route takes you through vibrant city streets and supportive local communities, with a buzzing atmosphere and fantastic crowd support throughout. 

Expect your route to encompass Old Trafford, the city centre to Stretford, Sale, and Altringham before a triumphant return to Old Trafford to cross the finish line!

With tens of thousands of runners expected to participate, the Mancunian spirit and support on route is unmatched.
