Seeking information about caring over the phone?

Accessing support services and information can be a daunting task, especially for those who don’t use the internet.

This pre-recorded information phone service is free to call on 0800 888 6999. You can listen to information about:

  • help with finances and household costs
  • caring for people with specific health conditions
  • looking after yourself
  • ways to get more help and support.

We also have a downloadable information flyer for you to print off which includes a tear off slip at the bottom to be passed on to family, friends, and neighbours in need of support.

If you know an unpaid carer who doesn’t use the internet, please share our freephone number and print off our information flyer.

Please note that this service provides recorded information and signposting for carers – this is not a helpline or crisis service. Find out more about Carers UK’s Helpline service.
