Starting and finishing at the iconic Olympic Stadium, the Amsterdam course is renowned for being flat, fast, and rich in history. 

The route follows part of the original 1928 Olympic course, leading runners out of the city and alongside the beautiful Amstel River. This scenic stretch offers sweeping countryside views, passing elegant manor houses and traditional windmills, while giving a glimpse into the vibrant daily life along the riverbanks.

As the course winds back toward the city, runners are welcomed into Amsterdam’s streets, heading past iconic landmarks including the Rijksmuseum and through the leafy paths of Vondelpark. The route then draws closer to Amsterdam’s historic centre before returning for a triumphant finish back at the Olympic Stadium.
