Just off the back of Carers Week 2019, Carers NI is pleased to announce we have just been awarded £5000 from the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland.
Clare-Anne Magee, Head of Carers NI, said
“We’re delighted to have received this funding from the Halifax Foundation to contribute to the salary of our Advice and Information Officer. This funding will ensure we can continue to provide our Adviceline 4 days per week, making sure we have someone at the end of the phone or email to support carers when they need it. The funding will enable us to continue to respond to over 2000 enquiries for the year and allow us to provide up-to-date information for carers on their rights and entitlements.”
The Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland is a grant-giving Foundation whose income is derived from Lloyds Banking Group.
