Carers NI is pleased to announce a new partnership with Sync Living, a leading supplier of mobility and home adaption products in Northern Ireland, to help support unpaid carers in the region. Based in Belfast but working across Northern Ireland, Sync Living’s experienced staff regularly visit clients who have caring responsibilities for a loved one and are helping Carers NI put them in touch with important information and support.

Whether it's information about financial support or navigating the social care system, or practical solutions to everyday tasks, Sync Living staff will signpost carers to support that can help them with their caring role, including Carers NI’s Advice and Information service should they need it.

Clare-Anne Magee, Head of Carers NI, said: “We’re delighted to have Sync Living’s support to help us reach, connect and support carers in Northern Ireland. Their staff will play a pivotal role in getting carers connected to the support they need. We hope that by working with Sync Living, more carers will have better knowledge of the practical support available to them.”

“Having witnessed many carers toil with the demands of looking after loved ones whilst also attempting to continue existing responsibilities, we are very aware of the invaluable support Carers NI can provide” said Neil Spottiswoode, Director at Sync Living. “It is very pleasing to announce this new partnership and we look forward to working closely with the team to ensure carers are equipped with products that support them in their caring role”.
