Lake Windermere plays host to The Arla Great North Swim, set within the infamous and spectacular landscape of The Lake District.

Windermere is England's largest lake at 10.5 miles long (or just over 18 km). The lake and surrounding area are arguably the most famous and popular out of all districts within this unique National Park.

Expect a weekend-long celebration of open-water swimming, stunning scenery, amazing local food and drink as well as other outdoor activities, culture, art and history.
