Carers UK is joining forces with Sheffield’s multiagency partners from the local authority, health services, Sheffield Carers Centre and Sheffield Young Carers to take part in the city’s first unpaid carers roadshow event.

What's on
- Find local services supporting carers in Sheffield - there's a list of everyone involved on the Sheffield Carers Centre website.
- Meet other carers and make new connections.
- Hear about the latest research and campaigns on carers’ issues from Carers UK and discuss what’s important to you.
- Find out more about Carers Trust’s work with young adult carers.
- Listen to helpful presentations eg Citizens Advice on energy and allowances.
- Have a wellbeing check up with one of Sheffield's primary care nurses on site.
- Find out about initiatives that support carers taking place in Sheffield's secondary care trusts / hospitals.
- Watch a screening of Much Ado About Dying, a film about caring from award-winning director, Simon Chambers.
- Register with the Sheffield Carers Centre and discover what support services they offer including carer’s assessments.
- Find out more about the support and advice that Carers UK offers and how to join as a member for free.
All unpaid carers are welcome and you can drop in at a time that suits you. Please note that some information and local services will be specific to carers living in the local authority of Sheffield.
