This ever-growing festival of running is a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar. 

Edinburgh marathon starts in the heart of the capital near Holyrood Park, the course travels east through East Lothian and finishes at Musselburgh Racecourse.

Runners pass the Scottish Parliament, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, and run alongside the Portobello Promenade before hugging the stunning East Lothian coastline. Voted by Runner's World as the fastest marathon in the UK, it has a net elevation drop, making it ideal for first-timers!

This race promises an extraordinary atmosphere and a running experience you will not forget.
