The national carer organisations responded the the Scottish Government consultation on the new Scottish Carer's Assistance which will replace Carer's Allowance in Scotland.  This response was informed by the views of carers.  We carried out a survey, a number of online polls as well as direct discussions with carers.

The national carer organisations are Carers Scotland, Carers Trust Scotland, Coalition of Carers in Scotland, MECOPP, Shared Care Scotland and the Scottish Young Carers Services Alliance.
