Me Time online support sessions for carers 

Our online support sessions in Wales are a series of online activities to support your wellbeing. Activities range from practical advice on carers' rights and caring to emotional and physical wellbeing sessions like mindfulness and dance, to creative opportunities like crafting and cooking. Sessions are open for anyone across the UK.

Below you will find details of the sessions available in May. To sign up, click the link and fill out a short Zoom registration form. We look forward to welcoming you to our friendly and supportive sessions!



Monday 8 May: 6.30-8pm: Special Coronation Quiz

Join us for our Coronation Quiz and see how well you know the British Royal Family. Do you know your Balmoral from your Sandringham, your Margaret from your Lilibet? Who will be crowned our quiz winner and who will be sent to the Tower of London?


Wednesday 10 May: Spring Card Making

Come and join us for a relaxing craft session making your own spring cards. A craft kit will be posted to you before the session. Registration closes on Tuesday 2nd May to give time to post craft kits.

Tuesday 16 May: 12-1.30pm: Power of Attorney with Damian Lines

Damian Lines TEP is the Managing Partner at Rubin Lewis O’Brien solicitors based in Cwmbran, South Wales. He will be running a session on what you need to know about setting up power of attorney for your loved ones.

Tuesday 23 May: 3-4pm - Policy Forum

Come and join other carers to discuss policy developments and topical issues related to carers in Wales with the Carers Wales Policy Team. You will get receive policy updates from Carers Wales staff and hear from guest speakers. Thursday 25th May 6pm-8pm: Craft session with Lora Morgan: Felted Pots.

In the workshop we will be felting pots by using the 'wet felting' technique. We will embellish the pots later with some needle felting. Craft packs will be sent out to attendees.

Friday 26th May 2pm-3pm: Crystals with Helen at Dreamstone Holistics

In this session we will be looking at ways in which you can use crystals and stones to support you in daily life; how to select them and how to care for them. The session will also include a guided crystal meditation to help you relax and feel calm and a suggested crystal layout you can do at home.
