Why raise money for Carers UK

[This would consist of 4 artworks with four key facts about carers:]

  1. There are 6.5 million carers in the UK today, supporting loved ones who are older, disabled or seriously ill.
  2. 1 in 7 employees are juggling work with caring for older, ill or disabled loved ones.
  3. This unpaid care saves the state £132 billion a year. To put that into context, the annual NHS budget is £134 billion.
  4. 57% of carers said they expect their mental health to get worse in the next two years.

The difference your fundraising could make

£50 can provide support in the community

The support from someone who has experienced the same problems as you can be incredibly beneficial. £50 helps us to train a volunteer and equip them with resources to support carers struggling in their local community.

£100 can provide expert information and advice

Easily understandable information can make all the difference when you’re caring for someone. £100 can pay for 50 copies of our Looking after someone guide to help with all aspects of being a carer.

£250 can help carers struggling with their finances

Struggling with your finances can make you feel helpless and alone. But £250 means that one of our expert benefits advisors can be there for 50 carers, helping them access vital financial support.
