Our series of Pilates and Hatha yoga sessions have now ended, but we hope to be able to offer more of these in the future.

July sessions
Join us for an information session with Re-engage, a national charity in its 60th year dedicated to reducing loneliness and isolation in later life. The charity brings people aged 75 and older together for regular, free to access, in-person social groups, and offers telephone befriending services, as well as online social gatherings. Book here
Join us for a powerful session where you’ll learn three science-backed techniques to instantly calm your nervous system, release big emotions, and reset your mindset. Silvia is a Health & Wellbeing Facilitator & Consultant who has spent 11 years at Network Rail. She has experience of being a young carer, balancing work and care as a sandwich carer, and now works for Carers First supporting unpaid carers. This session will leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected with tools you can use anytime to stay grounded and empowered. Book here
August sessions
Join us for an introductory session and to find out more about our upcoming Mindfulness course offered by certified Mindfulness Teacher, Bernadette Sarginson. Starting on 24th September, 10.30-12.30, this will be an 8-week course where you'll learn about mindfulness, explore how it can help you in your day-to-day living and caring responsibilities, and learn to navigate the ups and downs of life as a carer with more calm, ease and joy. Join us to find out more and register your interest. Book here
Knowing what financial support is out there for carers and what you might be entitled to yourself can be confusing, especially when policy changes are announced. Liz from our Helpline team will be joining us to give an overview of financial support available including types of welfare benefits and current eligibility, as well as other forms of support such as grants for carers. There will be time for questions, so be sure to bring along a notepad and pen. Book here
Note on signing up to our sessions
Our Share and Learn events are generally bookable via Zoom. Once you have registered by clicking the "Book here" option of the session you wish to attend, you will be sent a confirmation email with a Zoom "join meeting" link. Please note you may not receive your link straight away. If you have registered during the weekend or during out of office hours, you will receive a confirmation email as soon as possible. You will need to register for each Share and Learn individually.
Session recordings
To help more carers enjoy the benefits of Share and Learn, some sessions will be recorded. Only the speaker/facilitator’s section will be publicly shared. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are welcome to turn off your camera/audio during this part of the session.
Want to chat with other carers?
As well as Share and Learns, we run weekly online Care for a Cuppa sessions, where you can meet other carers, share experiences and find mutual support.
