Kiltwalk for Carers Scotland!

Are you, or someone you know, looking for a fun challenge, where you could also raise some money for Carers Scotland?

Dig out your kilt, or your favourite piece of tartan kit, and join walkers from around Scotland, all raising money for a charity close to their heart. The Kiltwalk is the biggest mass walking event in Scotland with thousands of people taking part each year – with a choice of locations and walk lengths, it is a fun way to get active, get involved and raise money for a great cause.

Choosing Carers Scotland as your Kiltwalk charity

Carers Scotland and unpaid carers need your support
At Carers Scotland our mission is to improve the lives of the 800,000 unpaid carers currently caring for friends, family, neighbours and loved ones in Scotland.

The last few years have been brutal for unpaid carers in Scotland - in an age of rocketing inflation and household bills, carers are struggling to make ends meet, having to choose between such daily basics as heating and eating. Since many carers have either given up work or reduced working hours to provide care, their financial situation has become unmanageable. Long hours of caring, lack of funds, decreasing contact with family and friends, and the stress of providing care mean that many carers feel exhausted, overwhelmed, lonely and depressed.

The future feels bleak for unpaid carers in Scotland, but you can support us to help make their lives better.
