Reiki
Take time out of your busy day and put yourself first. Join Heulwen for an hour and a half of relaxation and focus on your health, well-being and self-care with Reiki Therapy.
Heulwen will talk about what Reiki is like and do a Reiki distance therapy session for everyone who joins in. You can trial and feel the effect of Reiki and how the energy can help you reduce stress, depression, pain and anxiety in your mind and body and help you to relax (and also maybe fall asleep!) while promoting your health, well-being, emotional and mental health.
With distance Reiki, irrespective of where you are in the world, the energy goes to where it is needed, all you need is an open mind and a willingness to accept Reiki energy.
Heulwen is a Reiki practitioner originally from Pembrokeshire and now living in Barry. She helps people all over the world to promote health and wellbeing with distance Reiki and helping local people with mobile Reiki, she now provides Reiki from Barry Therapy Centre, on Holton Road in Barry.

Mindfulness
Lose yourself for an hour of mindfulness meditation with 'Mindfulness' Mike.
It's easy to get caught up in a pattern of swirling thoughts—thinking about a laundry list of things that need to be done, ruminating on past events, or could-be situations of the future—and learning mindfulness can help. But what exactly is mindfulness?
It can be defined as a mental state that involves being fully focused on "the now" so you can acknowledge and accept your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment. Mindfulness meditation is a mental training practice that teaches you to slow down racing thoughts, let go of negativity, and calm both your mind and body.
This session will be for 1 hour

Me Time Holistic Stress Management
This interactive workshop will take participants on a sensory trail and share a range of practical tools to support their short-term and long-term stress management. It will explore holistic techniques and show how these can be adapted and incorporated into different schedules for a range of people.

Craft with Lora: Dream catchers
In our August craft session, we will be joined by firm favourite, Lora Morgan-Jones.
Lora will be teaching you how to make a dream catcher.
Materials for this session will be provided, but we will be closing registration 13 days prior to the session in order to get them sent out to you, so please book early. There will also be a limit of 15 spaces available.
