    Carers Allowance briefing to the Social Development Committee

    Carers Northern Ireland was asked to make a submission on Carers Allowance to the Assembly's Committee for Social Development. We made the point that while many carers are on low incomes ond Carers Allowance is inadequate, for many carers the idea of being recognised and valued is just as important.
