About Carers Rights Day
Each year, we hold Carers Rights Day to bring organisations across the UK together to help carers in their local community find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to. This year's theme is Know Your Rights.
Last year hundreds of organisations across the UK held an event or activity for Carers Rights Day, and while events in 2020 may look different, carers need information and support more than ever.
You don’t need to be an expert to help a carer find out about their rights. Sometimes pointing someone in the right direction for help, advice and support can make all the difference. Below you'll find some pages that will help you organise and promote an activity to support unpaid carers; from sharing posts on social media to holding a big virtual event, every activity will help raise awareness this Carers Rights Day.
