About Carers Rights Day
Each year, we hold Carers Rights Day to bring organisations across the UK together to help carers in their local community find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to. This year, the campaign's focus is the rights that unpaid carers have.
Last year hundreds of organisations across the UK held an event or activity for Carers Rights Day. If you’ve taken part before or want to get involved for the first time, and whether your activity will be online or face-to-face, join us in 2021 to help carers get the information and support they need.
You don’t need to be an expert to help a carer find out about their rights. Sometimes pointing someone in the right direction for help, advice and support can make all the difference. Below you'll find some pages that will help you organise and promote an activity to support unpaid carers; from sharing posts on social media to holding a big virtual event, every activity will help raise awareness this Carers Rights Day.
