Carers Break Fund

This is very interesting! I've been a carer for 17 years and I never knew there was anything available like this! We've just managed to get along with carers allowance and the Mrs disability money. Who would you recommend to ask about whats available?

Hi Jim, info is available at the local Carers Centre.
Social services can let you know what they can offer by way of financial help and what the pay-off is (usually anything from them comes with some strings attached!) but you never know!
