Some of you may 'lurk' before posting, but please feel free to dip your toes when you feel comfortable doing so. If any questions you can ask them here or contact one of the moderators ( our names are in green ).

Not my page Charm, belongs to all forum members. Most posts on that thread are poems/quotes that members have found across the internet, that have either helped them in their caring role or just been an inspiration to them in general. Possibly verses relating to loved ones no longer with us. Offhand I don't think there is any original work on that thread.

The other one is more personal and part of a competition that is judged. Winners make it into a book. Mind you, Nikki will have more in depth info as I know in the past there were many entries, but naturally not all included in the book.

Hey, carers space folk on here.

I really can't believe Carers Trust suspended ALL it's members until 2100 and in public view with no reason mentioned on the on-line community (1 of only 2 online community carers sites in Great Britain). Makes US look like we've done something wrong!!! They decided to 'close the on-line community' not us. Really bad that is.
People have a right to know about this...It's a disgrace!
I have a few password protected chat rooms on there..so let me know if you want to chat there as still can regardless ;)
CT ( Old PRT ) ?

Always been a law unto themselves over there , very different to our Carers UK , as ex CT members will find.

Shame as their Forum was buzzing even as far back as 2004. What changed was carers themselves , something the CT couldn't live with , but tolerated , as the fallout from 2009 took effect.

That's my own view , dating back to CarerWatch days , and shared by many others on that forum.

If nothing else , the top part of this Forum is an oasis for carers in the vast desert now out there.

To a carer , long might that continue !!!!!!!!!

Love it Chris...Oppps they've deleted all the chat rooms now haha...Still bad what they've done today suspending members in public for no reason other than their little site is going underground in net heaven lol
Love it ... must have been reading from the archives on CarerWatch ?

No Big Brother or Sister on there ... if it needed ripping , we ripped it !

Still , fingers crossed , might be something similiar on the 21 Hour Rule in the pipeline.

If NUS come back with " Sorry squire , under section 23 , paragragh 22 , sub section 21,294 b , as ammended .... " type reply , a gentle FORWARD on that email to the LSE.

Student Armageddon ? Only if a few of the current bunch have the Spirit of '68 in their genes !

I hope nobody else snooping around took a note of that reply ??????
