Caring for husband with CPTSD

Tell us a bit about yourself here.
I'm a carer for my husband who has recently been diagnosed with CPTSD. He has also suffered with Anxiety Disorder for so many years. Life is a struggle now dealing with him on a daily basis. I feel as though I'm slowly losing him. He's fading from the person he used to be. His anger and temper is awful and distressing to hear and see. He self harms in the form of hitting himself in the face with his fists and he causes himself to get black eyes frequently. I also am witness to this. The other week he had a dissociative episode which was very distressing to see him go through. He has suffered trauma in the past relating to emotional and physical abuse by his mother who is now deceased and his father was a horrible man too. Also my husband has trauma from a work incident and he's been off work for 12 months now because of this. His workplace have issued him with a final warning regarding his attendance and this is causing him so much distress. I'm off work with secondary stress as it's all got too much for me. I'm a strong person but it is breaking me now. Don't know how much more I can do for him. I have never seen anyone go from 0-90 in a second with anger like this. It's frightening to say the least. Thought I would share this today.
