b-cell lymphoma - Carers UK Forum

b-cell lymphoma

Tell us a bit about yourself here.
Hi,my husband was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma and we have been told its in the nervous system and to me this sounds scary and body else diagnosed with this?
Susan hi - have you taken a look at the Macmillan Cancer forums? I can see there is one about Diffuse Large B cell lymphonas

http://community.macmillan.org.uk/cance ... iscussions

Lymphonas are quite complicated and varied, and there are lots of different types., including, from what I can see, different types of B-cell lymphonas! I can see there is a specialist lymphoma forum at:

http://www.lymphomas.org.uk/forum

You may also find others affected by this particular cancer at:

https://www.cancercompass.com/message-b ... 57,142.htm

Cancer Compass is American, but I found it very informative when my husband was diagnosed with cancer (not lymphoma). I also liked the Macmillan forums too.

I do recommend cancer forums in general, as you feel a lot, lot less 'lonely'. When you or your family get a cancer diagnosis, suddenly the world can seem full of people who have NO IDEA what you are going through - but on a cancer forum we are all 'in it together' and it does help to reassure that what we are going through, others have as well, and may be 'further along' than we ourselves are.

However, from a 'non-cancer' perspective, this Carer's forum is full of people who have another person in their lives to look after, for a variety of reasons, and many of us here are caring for a spouse, so I'm sure that in the general 'caring' scheme of things and 'caring for a spouse' scheme of things, you will find support and encouragement.

All the very best to you and to your husband - kind regards, Jenny
