hello . . . . first time in here - Carers UK Forum

hello . . . . first time in here

Tell us a bit about yourself here.
if it's Ok I'll just sit quietly in this corner until I can gently ease my head out of my bottom (where's the smiley for that then?) and resume contact with the outside world. Its been a tough maddening saddening few weeks / months and tho' I have fought successfully for Mum against incompetent care managers, supervising managers and felt I had to take on the whole world I just need a quiet place to rest and learn a bit. After all I still have to persuade the tax man about an large overpayment of tax he just doesnt want to repay. Image

Talk soon

Hi Muvver, welcome to the forum. Just being allowed to sit and listen to silence is so important for all of us. Hope you manage to recharge your batteries, fighting the authorities is so tiring and really shouldn't be neccessary. I do hope you manage to get your money back from the taxman too.
*sticks thumbs up cos head is still up there*

Thanks Image am contemplating demolishing five people's careers with one formal complaint to HMRC . . . . . but not yet. Anyway, really nice to get a reply so soon

Cheers x x
I dunno as you'll find us quiet, but welcome Image Image Image
Welcome from me too.xx
Thank you Myrtle and Poppet (ace names) I managed to get out for a walk early this morning (OK walkng and brooding) only to come home to calls from a sadly confused Mum . . . hard to help her over the phone but I try. . . .just to keep her going and try to help her feel a little safer with her confused state

Coffee and choccy bikkies I think?

"can you hear me muvver?"!! (I'm sure there was something on the telly years ago that used to have that as a catchphrase...anyway, welcome from me too!

PS...I've done the career ruining too, when it's deserved it can be refreshing to know that their incompetence can't harm anyone else.
Cool Thanks for the encouragment you lot. I've managed to rid the world of two incompetent care managers thus far and I like the notion that to do so actually protects others - Thanks for that x x x
PS Double dunking choccy digestives isnt my normal lifestyle but today it is helping
*wipes chin*
Incompetent care managers = incompetent care
Removal of incompetence = competence and protection from incompetence.

Go for it Image
