Tell us a bit about yourself here.
Hi jus thought I'd introduced myself, I look after my 25 year old daughter who has LD, struggling with the 'dangers' of everyday life, does anyone have any suggestions?
Hello - just wanted to say hi and welcome. I haven't any suggestions, as this isn't my area, but I know there are quite a few members here whose caree are their children (mine is an elder caree), and they will be here soon for you.

All best, and nice to see you here. :) Kind regards, Jenny
Hello Tracy and welcome to the forum :)
Hiya Tracy...... Welcome :)
Hi Tracy and welcome to the forum.
How would you describe everyday dangers?
For me an everyday danger in our house is partners son pacing the kitchen while I'm trying to prepare dinners, many times I've nearly gone flying with hot pans.
Hi Tracy, wrlcome to the forum. My son is35, with SLD (brain damaged at birth) lives alone with carer support and day services. What are your r biggest concerns? Sometimes it helps to try and put things in the order of priority, rather than try to deal with a lon list all at once. Has she had a benefits check?
Hi Tracy and welcome.

I care for S. He is 22 and is a day student at a specialist college. He has autism and related LD. He cannot be left home alone or go out on his own. He is vulnerable.

Did your daughter go to a special school? What are the most common dangers she encounters?
