I,m new to this forum. My name is Marjie and I care 24/7 for my husband who had a massive stroke 5 and a half years ago
He has Aphasia and dysexecutive syndrome, plus difficulty walking and has lost the use of one arm. The dysexecutive syndrome has created some severe cognitive problems.
So life can be hard, but we muddle along.
I do feel however that it would be good to talk to others who know what it's like.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I hope you are getting all the help you need, practical, financial and emotional. My son was brain damaged at birth, so he has some communication problems too. There are loads of experienced people here, it's like an encyclopaedia of anything you ever needed to know!

And a warm welcome from me, too. You will find lots of friendly folk here who understand. I care for my mum, so slightly different problems but I suspect similar emotions on occasion. Looking forward to "talking", Anne
