Maybe the housing association do not realise for some reason that you have lived there for so many years?

Go to see them and say that you will be made Homeless if they carry out there request for you to vacate. Ask them to consider that problem

Thanks Chris, my case is the same as John. It was originally a joint tenancy with my parents. My dad sadly passed away within 9 months of us moving here and my mum became the sole tenant. I enquired a few years ago (2009) with the housing association as my mum was worried about what would happen should anything unfortunate happen. Social housing said at the time that the Sole tenancy could be amended to Joint if my mum was agreeable and they carried out a home visit. We signed the paperwork authorizing the amendment but then later I received a phone call to say they couldn't put it through. I asked if this could be put in writing and reasons but they never did. I tried to chase this up last year again but again didn't receive any response.

In that case make a Subject Access Reequest to the association asap, asking for details of everything they have on file about you, URGENTLY.

The only thing you can help yourself is you also. Just be patient and love your mum more. I believe if do good things you'll deserve a reward. Keep praying!
