I can't believe there's nothing on here yet about the death today,10th June of DLA and the roll out of PIP. Remember if your caree fails to get at least 'standard' rate care you won't get carers allowance. The mind boggles at the fall out from this. Good luck everybody... Image

Maybe we're all thinking that if we don't say anything it won't be true. Image

a very important point farmer !! I have just posted something simiular on my FB page...

so many many people are in a fog thinking that welfare reform will does not affect them ...

but its not just about now ..its about the future too!! I know too many carer friends who are struggling because their caree lost their Contribution Based ESA after the new rule for 365 days..they continue to hold onto their part time jobs and there is DLA to help with extra cost ...now they are in danger of losing the DLA too...and when they have to give up work..there will be no carers allowance either....

and now ..or albeit very soon...carers at home will have to face the god awful assessment process with their caree....and all the stress that brings!

in Ester Mcvey words ..." all PIP claimants will be 'diagnosed' ..." ....yes ..she did use that word..!! Image

The garages will be full of ex motability cars that have had to be returned and disabled people will be prisoners in their own homes Image

and their Carers too Nilla, if the people with disabilities cannot be left alone for a while. The thought is terrifying, isn't it?
What will happen to the car dealers? There are likely to be a lot more people unemployed to if people lose their mobility component of DLA.The Government thinks they are so smart, but they have not thought this through, all the consequences and the fallout to disabled people, Carers and a lot of the UK workforce.

Yes Carers too!
The government don't think anything through, I cant wait to see the backlash when Universal Credit comes in, the so called clever government think that by paying housing benefit to the claimant instead of the landlords will make people learn how to budget money, its laughable as 90% of claimants will spend the rent money, then will get in arrears which will cause local councils to struggle, then people will get evicted and go into private rentals which are a lot dearer than social housing so in effect the so called cut in paying housing benefit will result in more claimants in higher priced properties getting more housing benefit, you couldn't make it up could you? The country is being run by muppets!

I would have thought that seeing as most folks have already been assessed with that ESA thingy that they wouldnt need to go through it again for the PIP.It makes no sense they already are satisfied from the atos review of the icb/esa that Trish for one aint gunna get better from her disabillity.Surely they wont bombard us with another round of sodding forms.Cameron certainly has buggered this country up what a muppet time he thought with his brain not his todger
