Hello,
Has anyone who receives direct payments asked during their reassessment for more hours as needs have increased?
My social worker states once hours are set their set for life and if you ask for more hours they cut them? So, its best you don't ask?

Total balderdash
Send them an e-mail asking them to confirm your understanding of the conversation.
I bet they won't as they won't want it in writing
Anything I post here is my own personal opinion. I'm just trying to help, as I was helped.

Never heard such a load of rubbish. Of course needs change, and for most, that will be an increase as a health issue worsens. Have you looked at the HCPC website to see if this person is registered as a qualified social worker?
Information is Power!!!
