Four Foot Snakes!!

Actually, yes, we have heard about this but have yet to hear from our council on the exact figures, for both Council Tax AND Bedroom Tax.

So not only will we be paying 14% of our rent for one extra bedroom but possibly 20% of our Council Tax too.
Which means about £13.45 per week Bedroom Tax PLUS £4.17 per week Council Tax for us, a total of £17.62 per week, or £70.48 per 4-week-month, or £76.35 per calendar month, or £916.24 per year!

That's a lotta dosh!! Image Image

The Government gives in the form of benefits then takes it back again.
What's the point?!!?

Weve just recieved our council tax bill this morning, its £3.50 a week for us, £18 starting April then £15 a month thereafter and of course we have the bedroom tax due also in April at £13.68 a week and we are waiting in major adaptions, need our spare box room bla bla bla like everybody else should be exempt from it but there you go. Whilst we still have the money weve paid the council tax already for the year but we arent doing it for the bedroom tax.
