I am so sorry that she is going through this. I have been there and it is so hard. I totally understand what you are going through. I too have not slept well before. What I did are these things:

1. I have read a book.
2. I have worked in the middle of the night.
3. I have watched TV in the middle of the night.
4. I have asked the doctor for a change in medication dose.
5. I have looked at the IPad and the computer.
