Hi Rainbow

I'm sorry you're down it sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment. Do you get any time for yourself?
I try to get outside if I'm really down and take the dog for a good brisk walk, or I come on here and browse the forums. Have you looked on the fun and games section there might be something on there that you could distract yourself with for a while.

Keep posting on the forum theres usually someone around to talk to

My dogs called ben hes a lab crossed with goodness knows what Image Hes quite big and very loud but soft as a brush.
I've also got a cat who is 13 the dog is terrified of her she only has to give him the look and he scurrys off to his basket to hide. Image

It sounds like you've had a lot on your plate but its good that you are tackling it.

Keep posting on the forum lets us know how you are getting on

Hello Booksey.
I see you like Gardening which made me reply instead of silently feeling sad for you. I am an avid gardener and when stressed go outside with my dogs, I look at the Mole hills and cuss. Then dig and cuss, swear to myself about what has annoyed me and cut and prune..I set the world to rights and I bet a few ears are burning!!. You are wonder woman in my eyes. I am an old biddy now but realise that during our 40's and 50's life is very hard.We normally lose our family through age and now overnight (or so it seems) I have become my Mother !.
Take heart, I hope life gets better for you soon .Sending a big hug, from one who's been where you are,
Conned.

Hi Booksey,
Where would we be without our pets and gardening??? I sometimes think they're the only things that keep me sane; though Lily my border terrier is still quite young and doesn't get when her 'mum' is stressed, she makes up for it by being comical!
I've only been on the forum a few days and already I feel less alone. It does help to get stuff off your chest especially with people who know exactly where you're coming from. Sometimes a good moan is all you can do!
Aitch

Sorry you feel down today, I think we will all feel better when the sun shines and we can get outdoors more. Blinking cold here...but Spring is a coming by the moorhen in the garden today and
if I could add more than one picture I would keep you entertained or bored for hrs, ha ha !.
Take care,
Conned.

Hi Rainbow

Some days you just have to let things ride. I had a long list of things to do today but its all gone flying out of the window cos my hubs is having a bad day. Looking after your brother has probably taken a lot of effort today so be kind to your self.

I would love more dogs but I think a certain cat would not like it if I brought more into the house Image

Botticelliwoman/Conned I do love my garden but I don't know whats going to happen to it this year we are waiting for an extension for hubs and the OT thinks the only place for it is where my veg patch usually is Image I might just do some container gardening this year and see what happens
