Thinking of giving up paid care work

Henrietta, as dad's needs increase, it's really not in his or your interests to keep working. You must be so, so tired. At least if you are home you can have a nap when dad has a nap (as I always recommend to new mums!). However, I would suggest that you have a domestic in to help you do the basic cleaning etc., with you supervising to start with this should help you get at least a little bit of quality time for yourself.
Thanks for all new replies.
BB yes I was going to keep the week day carers definitely in the morning and maybe bedtime ones for a while. I've also got sitting service that help for an hour or sometimes 2 in the week with hoovering and bits and pieces.
