Just a quiet day here better half to daycare as usual.Normally we go out for a meal on that weekend as its also her birthday on Sunday but this time we cant afford cos xmas cleared us out finance wise.Have got her cards ready to write on and i bought a few little nick nacks last week.

No Valentines cards or flowers today-no spare dosh. BUT-I don't need them. My hubby tells me he loves me every day, buys me flowers at least every month and supports me with whatever I have to do. I don't need the sentiments of Valentines day, I have it all year around.

But I did have a giggle today. Went to visit caree (who is doing brilliantly by the way) and had to travel on the tube. I had to work very hard to stop myself giggling at the site of so many big and burly he-men sitting there clutching their bunches of red roses and other misc bouquets. The one that I really admired was the fella who not only had the obligatory roses but a very large heart shaped red balloon with "I luv u" emblazoned across it. He was standing squashed by the door (it was like sardines on there!) and he looked like he wished he (and his luvverly balloon) were invisible.
