A good rant gets it off your chest and makes you feel better.
And where better than here where you won't find judgement, just support, from people who know what it's like.

Hello, just seen your post - I am new here. I am 43 and also wonder if I am the only "young" person with all this going on. What happened to wild nights, lazy days and long Sunday lay ins? Its certainly not selfish to feel this way - just normal - sad but normal. Don't know if you feel the same - but I wonder how I ended up tired, lonely, a bit down and quite a lot pi**ed off.

I joined so that I could sometimes winge to those that understand and don't judge so rant away. Image

Not alone & not selfish. I am 43 & care for my husband who has a deteriorating disability & my son with Asperger's. My husband & I were self employed until january when we decided that his needs were such that we couldn't carry on working. We are still finding our feet in this world of disability/carers but getting there. Let off steam all you want. People here mean it when they say "I know how you feel".

albert thanks but while i've been on here tonight i've missed eastenders, friends and just missing alcatraz, when i've been for a bath i'll just be in time for restoration man at 10,what helps me care is the fact that if i was as ill as the wife she would look after me and when i come on here i know i'm not alone

We are not alone - people understand - thank goodness. Wot happened to our lives??? I miss so much - I bet you all do too. I love my man more than anything in the world but feel robbed, for both of us. I dont think its selfish - just damn bad luck. We used to be wild and badly behaved and I loved it - miss it so much.
