WRVS have come up trumps for my dad with their befriending service. Not only will he have someone who comes over for a chat but they will also support him taking the bus to the local shops! And his long awaited mobility exercise class will be starting next week and I've managed to get volunteer transport lined up for that.
So he's going to be getting back some independence, meeting new people and getting out of the house safely. A big weight off my shoulders.
