they are removed quicker than the porn Image

But the 4 threads about Angelina Jolie are still here at time of posting.
Angelina Jolie posts taken off as quickly as I found them.
I'd rather read about Angelina Jolie than Audis.....
Sorry Excalibur - it wasn't reading material. Image Image

In fact the "Angelina Jolie" material was on the site for about an hour - too long, but not as long as the post removed by Matt - and there was a lot more than four topics by then.

I understand people's feelings about the minutes but at least CUK are taking it to APPG to ask them to give permission. I know the Freedom of Information Act has been cited but it is covered this way:

1. You have to ask for the information under the terms of the Act

2. CUK are not bound by the Act as they are not an arm of the government - you should typically go to the relevant government body: in this case the APPG. However, the Act can only be invoked if the information is not available by other means, and CUK have made the minutes available on request. Please regard this as an interim measure while the necessary permission is sought.
anybody else think that CUK are bogged down with their petty rules?.

Charles I respesct you, but how can you defend a body that won't allow publicly available minutes of a meeting that is of interest to us all?.

It only causes suspicion that the CUK are trying to hide something. CUK should be openly transparant and making as much information as possible available to Carers, all off the time. whos is accountable for making these minutes available?, is up to the independent boards to lead the way?
.
Dr Hywel Francis is a member of the APCG and isn't he also a trustee of Carersuk?

Surely he in particular wouldn't have any objects to Carers reading the minutes of
meetings,...... meetings that are held to discuss matters that entirely concern Carers?

It would be very nice if Dr Hywel Fracis could spare a little of his valuable to post on this
forum occassionally? It would help to keep Carers up to date, and him up to date on how Carers feel etc?

Thanks for your comment, Carersunited: I thought I made myself clear early on that I believe these minutes should be publicly available on the website, rather than needing to request them. All I am saying is that at least CUK have agreed to ask APPG, and let's use the current method until it's sorted. It's not about defending anything - it's about asking for a little patience for a little longer.
At this rate by the time you decided to get collectively off your backside and post them they'll be old news! Image

Anyone interested use a search enginge like 'google' and get 'em yourself.

In this instance the information required for Carers is sadly missing when it's been clearly requested!

People shouldn't need to go else where for info on pertinent Carers issues this should have been cut and dried! Image

Shame on you this was a wrong or indeed ill-advised decision. Image

Stop being so petty and put them back up!
