My Daughter as been called for jury service there is a payment of ??30 per day will this affect her benifits in any way?

You are entitled to claim Job Seekers Allowance for up to 8 weeks of jury service (remember, your period of jury service is normally expected to last up to 2 weeks). If you are on contribution-based Job Seekers Allowance you must have a Certificate of Loss of Earnings signed by the benefit office and the court will pay the benefit. If you are on income-based Job Seekers Allowance you must claim Income Support for the duration of jury service.

it looks as though as a "carer" you can claim the carers allowance but because you as a carer are unable to care for your caree you can submit an application for extra cash to pay for some one else to care for your caree so as a carer you will get your normal bemnefit + £15 an hour to pay for care worker to care for your caree if that right somethings wrong somewhere .
