When you qualify as a doctor, don't you have to take an oath not to do any harm? I think you do, but maybe that's just one of those naive and lovely fantasies we get off the telly. My heart sank to hear the news that we are going to have to prove his disability again after finally convincing DLA that his permanent and excruciating back injury is , well, permanent! If he could work, he would be working, and quite honestly, although there might be a few people who want to opt for daytime telly and a few quid a week as a career option, most sane people would rather have normal lives if they had the choice, wouldn't they? Or am I just hopelessly naive?
