Still in shock - I received a cheque for £25 for a cold weather payment - didn't know we were entitled to it!!
My son got one too. He bought us all a take-away curry. It kept us warm allright!
Actually it was a very mild winter here up north. The wee lasses in Glasgow were heading off to the nightclubs in skimpy skirts and backless tops. Mind you, they would do that even if there was ten foot of snow, they breed 'em tougher up here.
