CHC crisis

Have they given you a specific cost of all that care at home? How does it compare to the care home of your choice?
They do do rehab at the specialised home but they cater for all stages of neurological illness, right up to end of life care. They are a Sue Ryder home.

No, the CHC haven't told me how much the package of care at home would cost and I don't know the cost of the home. It was just a general enquiry I made a few weeks back. They said there would be a 'haggling' process with the CHC if they agreed to fund respite.
Does anyone know if we go private until the CHC finds a new agency (either with a homecare agency or the specialised nursing home), if the CHC funding will be withdrawn?

Even if the funding could go on hold, we can't get care in place by Monday. The short notice is totally unacceptable in my opinion.
