Am I right in assuming this is Carers under the age of 18?

CUK - What support will young carers be getting out of this 6 million?

Still nothing for student/uni carers. What a suprise

The strategy says that the £6m will ensure young carers are protected from inappropriate caring and receive the broader support they need. Through:

- strengthening support from universal and targeted services;
- strengthening the quality and join-up of support around families so children are better protected from inappropriate caring.

To find out what this actually means there is a whole chapter dedicated to young carers in the strategy.
