hi all some of you know me and how my wife has multiple illnessess
to top all illnessess we have found out that now she has lung cancer
and we dont know how long she has to live Image because of her other illnessess
she cant have chemo or anything else her body is so weak it would
probably kill her Image Image so we try and take each day as it comes
and every day she is with me is a blessing she sounds very positive
in her mind so thats something she handles it better than me we do have carers
come in every day and we have marie curie nurses and they are a god send
and also the palliative care team comes in to look on her and so does the district
nurses so everyone is helping as much as they can half the time i'm going around
like a zombie because of all these years i cant believe i'm going to lose her
at some point. doug

Doug, I was so sorry to read your post. I'm sure life is very difficult for you all at the moment. Please pop in whenever you feel you would like and have a chat. Usually someone around on the forum to give you support and just to listen.

Thinking of you all.

Bell x

Hey Doug, I'm so sorry your having to deal with this. Its awful, I am currently caring for my Mother who is Suffering from melanoma of the brain. This is my first time on this forum, so just finding my way. Hang in there, I'm sure your doing an amazing job.Sound like you have a good support system. Should you get the chance of a break, even 10 minutes, take it! Image
