Suffering from panic attack

Hi
This happens whenever I’m really tired and I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. It’s typically really late at night and I have none of my “emotional support” people awake. I don’t know what to do because I can’t fall asleep and like the panic attack
doesn’t cross.
Thanks!!!!

Hi Joda,
this forum is for those caring for a family member or friend rather than for people looking for support for themselves.
It sounds like you may need to make an appointment to see your GP.
You might find this website helpful for information and support

I feel for you Joda. Caring is tough and my own anxiety has been flaring up too.
The best things you can do is look after yourself - eat well, sleep when you can, get in the fresh air, and make some time for you (even for 5 minutes).
Panic attacks happen when there's a build up of stress hormone in your body. It's nature's way of giving us energy to either fight or flight. So it's really natural.
I'd contact your doctor if they keep happening - they may refer you for counselling (which I love!) and /or medication (which i also love!)
Good luck and chat soon.
