My daughter has BPD

For issues specific to caring for someone with mental ill health.
Hey Jenny
I think you were talking to Karen but your comments about non-BPD daughter also resonated regarding my darling son who just gets on with life. I have said to my daughter that I feel she is not ready for exams or uni this year but was always told "don't say that - you just don't think I'm good enough - that makes it worse". Finally today after an episode last night I think she agrees.
Thank you.
Hi Gemma, I am in the same boat as you. My daughter has been suffering on and off with really bad meltdowns, she was like it when she was born. I too am a single, working parent of 2 kids. My daughter is now 25 and is worse than she ever has been. I love her to bits but how do we cope with it? She has a diagnostic/medication apt on Friday afternoon, but I can see her not going.
Really at my wits end :(
