Oh my goodness, that last line brings back memories.
Many years ago my hubby was taking part in a commercial and I went along with him. I needed to go to the Ladies, came out, walked thru a crowded pub and went outside where the film crew were waiting. The Producer came up to me and laughing said 'we're not making that sort of film'. Yep, my skirt was tucked into -- wait for it - my tights and I didn't have any knickers on

Meeting lasted 4 hours,1pm - 5pm.Never knew could fit as many people in a living room.
I hope no one here has to go through something like this,its horrendous.

Its 99% certain to be a section 3 on Wednesday.Another smaller meeting tomorrow to explain everything to us more fully.My head done in trying to digest all the information and help decide what best course of action is.

Final decision tomorrow so will keep you all posted then.

Best of luck for tomorrow, Rosemary.

That was a little meeting by our standards.....Homecare team come in twos, Crossroads usually had manager and a carer, social worker (one each for mum and dad until they saw sense and let them share one!) homehelp, hubby, myself, mum and dad.........that was a little meeting for thrashing out a basic home care package, You have my sympathy.

Rosemary, the only advantage I can see to a sectioning is that it gives Robert and you specific rights that otherwise can get forgotten - Robert and you both have a right to advocacy support - I strongly suggest you seek it.

We have the advocacy support Charles and been a great help so far.

I have spent a bit time reading up on different 'sections' that can be put in place, but hopefully at tomorrows meeting things will be explained in more depth.

Well,what can I say but that these last few days been horrendous.It amazes me at times just how much we all,as carers,have to cope with.

Everything organised on paper,Robert to be admitted tomorrow about 11am.We will be escorted by duty Soc Worker but we are adamant that he has time at home and so its been agreed that if no further incidents occur that Robert will come home each weekend.During the week, his support workers will also still maintain contact and take him to his farm work.
I just have to get tomorrow over when we leave him.My head knows its a necessity especially to get his meds reviewed but my heart is breaking.

The timescale for him being in there changes with every call so for now we will take each day as it comes.

I want to thank you all here and from other forums from the bottom of my heart, for all your messages of support on forum and by emails and pm's.
