The National Autistic Society (NAS is launching a new support group in Stratford-upon-Avon, and holding their first meeting on Tuesday 11 November at 10.30am.

NAS support groups are called branches and are set up all over the UK by families that are affected by autism to offer mutual support, advice and information sharing. Autism affects one in a hundred people and often parents and carers can become isolated, caring for children and adults at home and not knowing where to go for help.

The new branch will meet regularly at St Andrews Church in Shottery. The meetings are open to any parents or carers, or young people and adults with autism.
