seeing our grandson Jacob this morning - it is his third birthday! Unfortunately internet connection was poor but a glimpse of that little face has made my day!

What made me smile yesterday?

The weather was nice so I did an hour of weeding in the garden. But that wasn't it.

I took Tillydog up to the field for a walk, but that wasn't it.

Went out on the motorbike to run a couple of errands, but that wasn't it.

Sat in the garage tinkering (or fettling, depending on geographical location) with a set of carburettors while the rain hammered down on the roof. I love the rain when I'm covered up, warm and dry. That was it.

Seeing Tony walk around the flat a little - he has really hurt his leg and the past couple of weeks have been very difficult trying to look after him and the three dogs. At last I think there is a light at the tunnel but still a way to go.....
