Snow scene card 008.JPG
This is my favorite Snow Scene picture I painted as a Christmas card for CUK.
I really like that, Pete. After my harp recital, I'd like a painting lesson, but I think I'll be a challenge to teach. Actually, I won't because I'm popping in the ability scanner first.

Pete,

I am so impressed. People who treat us as just carers don't realise what hidden talents we all have too.
Were they venison saisages Mrs A?

I can remember sewing felt at primary schooland I hated it because the squeak of the needle set my teeth on edge.
:D venison sausages. No, though I do prefer a venison burger to a beef one. Sausages have to be pork, in my book, and I prefer them cold to hot.

I totally forgot to visit the craft room today. My cold seems to have finally lifted and I had some energy so went out and then did some housework, not something I'm usually pleased to do but I was today as was so glad to be upright! However now I'm sat down and thinking that I'd like Pete to teach me watercolour, and after that BB and her experts can make me a dress that fits properly.

What's on the social calendar for tonight ? Could we have someone come in to entertain us, a professional. I think I'd like Dawn French and Graham Norton. Who would you like, expense no object?
I'd like Billy Connolly - my go to solution when nothing else will cheer me up or calm me down, Andy Hamilton and John Finnemore. Plus in my fantasy world go back 20 years or so and add in Alan Coren, Linda Smith and 20th century Victoria Wood.

Felting is nothing to do with felt! I thought it was that too at first. You use unspun roving
lambs wool and stabbing it with a barbed needle joins the fibres together and in this way it can be sculpted to make 3D creations.

A comedy night, oh yes please.

Now there's something I didn't expect to learn on a carers'forum!
Andy Hamilton joke. They should bring back hanging for murderers, terrorists, social workers and those people who wash your windscreen at traffic lights without asking you first.
I'd like to see Freddie Star again please. I used to nearly pass out with laughing at him.

Thanks for the kind comments on my watercolour. Shame CUK didn't take up my offer as it would have cost to much for them to reproduce it turned out.

Right, form an orderly queue for the art class please.
Sorry I stink of smoke....................
